Why I Moved

Since I was little I always had huge dreams of what my life was going to be like. I really thought I’d be married by now with a loving husband, a few kids, and a cute little house with a wraparound porch on a few acres where I could watch the sunset every night. I always knew since moving to Los Banos when I was in high school that that was not where I was going to be forever. In my mind, it’s such a huge world it would be a shame to stay forever. After high school when I came to Oklahoma State for school, I was always home sick feeling like I was missing out on life on the ranch… but when my Dad passed, and the ranch was no longer really ours, there was nothing to miss. What was the point of staying in a town filled with negativity when I could go somewhere with new faces, no preconceived views on who I am, and just a whole new world of opportunities. I feel free. I mean, I'm single, no kids, and 25 years old… I should go wherever I want while I can. I’m now three weeks into my new journey and feel a pull to so many new things. I have started to get my creativity and energy back. I am an official resident of Oklahoma and am so excited for all that is coming next. & while you’re here, I want to remind you to be kind, spread love and positivity, & think before you speak negatively about someone.
